Spa Phoenix Staff Attend Advanced Training at iSpa and at American Classic Hair Show
Spa Phoenix staff are continually improving their spa and beauty skills at top industry events. It's a source of ideas, images and best practices that benefits our clients. Sarah, our Spa Phoenix manager, will attend the International Spa Association (iSpa) annual conference and expo in Orlando in November.
The annual iSpa event brings together spa trendsetters from around the world to review spa vendors and treatment innovations. Spa Phoenix is an iSPA member since 1999. Fewer than 3% of all spas belong to the International association, acknowledged as the source of leading edge standards for spa safety, treatments and customer service.
Sarah will engage with peers and listen to session speakers like Jim Collins, author of the business best-seller, “Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap ... And Others Don’t“ and John Moore, Starbucks and Whole Foods marketer, who has helped make those companies exceptionally successful. Sarah's excited to see poet Dr. Maya Angelou, the convention's keynote speaker.
Salon Phoenix hair stylists Christina and Destini, with nail artisan Michelle, attended the recent Beauty Classic, an education event for stylists, colorists and nail professionals, in Columbus, Ohio.
They attended workshops and stage demonstrations by Redken, PureOlogy, Schwarzkopf and other professional salon hair product and color brands. They're editing the trends and techniques from the Beauty Classic for their Salon Phoenix clients.
What are the hot hair color trends? According to Destini, warmer blonde tones. Christina's inner colorist is excited by the chocolate-cherry range: rich browns warmed with auburns and reds.
Make an appointment with Christina or Destini and see how the trends fit into your everday presentation.
