Spa Coordinator
 Jessica Ludwig
Here I am working at a beautiful spa near the beach all the way from a small town in Wisconsin! I have lived in VA for 12 years and have been with Spa Phoenix for 3 years. I love what I do-I get to make people feel good and that is my constant goal. I am a Certified Massage Therapist. I am excited to continue my training in new modalities and will soon be able to offer La Stone Massage to my clients. My favorite service to receive at the Spa is the 90 minute massage which I include in my schedule regularly. I love to be taken care of and pampered just like our clients do! When I am not at the Spa I like to spend my time with my family and friends at the beach or cooking and baking sweets.
 Allison Murray
I am a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT), and received my training at The Advanced Fuller School of Massage Therapy in Virginia Beach, from 2003-2004. I worked there until arriving here at Spa Phoenix two years ago. With 6 years experience in the field of Massage Therapy I am highly trained and qualified in the arts of therapeutic, deep, and sports massage as well as swedish and prenatal. I am also currently enrolled in school for Esthetics at The Chrysm Institute, which I will be done with in September of this year.
 Brenda Ponton
Graduating from Fuller School following thru with continued education classes from Cayce/Reilly School and twelve years of listening and learning from my clients has given me a well rounded foundation in massage techniques and philosophy.
Swedish massage, LaStone, essential oils, steam, reflexology, acupressure and polarity bring my massage the blend of modalities which release the client into that desired point of stillness where the body heals itself. I feel that massage continues to give to me more than I could possibly return

 Michelle Wiperfurth
My name is Michele Wipperfurth I've been at Spa Phoenix for 5 years. I have a license in cosmetology. I decided to go towards the nail technician field which I love very much. I've been working on and off through two kids and four moves through the 20 year military career of my husband, which brought us here and me here to Spa Phoenix. I've been also keeping up with my education taking in Hair and Nail Shows learning and seeing all the new products coming out. I've even ventured into make-up, taking classes and learning more about our make-up line Jane Iredale. I enjoy what I do very much , to see the finished product I've created with what is given to me.
Stylists
 Christina Tallmadge
I am Christina Tallmadge, an innovative hairstylist who has been working at Spa Phoenix since 2004. I am truly blessed to work with a team of talented, loving, and inspiring stylists. I wake up excited to go to work and be inspired for life and my work. When I was first introduced to the hair industry, I was very shy and timid. Now I face the world with more confidence.
I love learning new trends and am constantly furthering my education by attending classes and hair shows. I have been trainedin Schwartzkopft, Redkin, and Aveda Color. I love creating natural looking color and highlights, and completing the look with a fabulous haircut! I think hair is an accessory that we wear everyday, so we need to be good to it!
 Emily Flood
I am Emily Flood, licensed in California, Guam, and Virginia. This allowedme to become proficient in all hair types including; all types of curly hair, fine limp hair, and frizzy hair. Relaxers, highlights, haircuts, hair additions, and bridal hair and make-up are just a few of the services I offer. I continue my education often to stay current on the newest styles and fashions. I haveperfected hair and make-up on photo shoots for companys like Black Label, Gamboa Photos, Marine Drive Magazine Guam, and FHM Phillipines Model Search 2005. Do you need a stylist who listens to your needs? I am your stylist.
 Shannon Hall
Hi, I am Shannon Hall. After graduating from Ryan Academy of Norfolk, I went
into an apprenticeship program with the Norfolk Technical Center. While
attending school full time at night, I continued my apprenticeship full
time with various hair stylists at Spa Phoenix during the day. I entered the hair
industry in 2008 and continue to strive for success. I work to satisfy every
expectation for every client I meet. Whether it's haircuts,
coloring, foiling, or styling, I will listen to your needs to achieve your
goal and make you beautiful!
Estheticians
 Heidi Lavan
Hello! I am Heidi Lavan. I have always shared a passion for skin care and have been with Spa Phoenix since 2007. I find it very rewarding to work with clients to achieve improvement through regular facials and peels. Whether I am educating teens struggling with acne or an adult desiring a clearer, more refined complexion I always complete each treatment with a healthy dose of relaxation. My proudest professional moment is each time a client who is completely new to the facial experience tells me the incredible difference they see and feel. I look forward to sharing my expertise and enthusiasm for skin care with you!
 Karen Villaneuva
I am Karen Marie Villanueva, a native of the Philippine Islands although
I have lived in the U.S. for most of my life. I ama licensed Master Esthetician and certified in Laser & Light Therapy. I studied at the Virginia Institute of Esthetics and have been an esthetician for three years.
 Melanie Sawtelle
I have been with Spa Phoenix for 2 years. I am licensed in both Esthetics and Cosmetology, however my main title is an Esthetician. I specialize in facial treatments and Brazilian wax as well as Bridal makeup. Grew up and raised in the Virginia Beach area, I am a true local. I graduated from Old Dominion University.
I'm very passionate about my career and thoroughly enjoy helping clients achieve their skin goals. I love playing with makeup and trying out different product lines. I absolutely love what I do and look forward to spa expos, conventions, and shows to learn more about this ever changing industry. A wise man once said, If you love what you do, then you will never work a day in your life. This, I find true.
